The finishing touches for your room

  • They are three main looks that you could create. The first would be a lighter wood work to your wall colour, which most people go for. Here I have chosen Muddy Puddle, a mid neutral for the walls and a complementary cream, Timeless for the wood work which gives a softer effect than white.

  • Or you could use the same colours on you walls and wood work. All of the colours in our main range can be matched at the tailor made colour display and mix in which ever finish you need. So although Muddy Puddle is not available for Wood and Metal in our main colour range I have had it mixed in Satinwood for the skirting. Painting the skirting and walls the same colour will make your room appear taller; it's all a trick of the eye.

  • Lastly, if you would like to use a darker colour for the skirting then choose a darker version of the colours on your walls. Here I have accented Natural Calico on the walls with Coffee Liquor on the skirting.

  • Not all of us have the benefit of living in home with beautiful radiators but so many people paint them in white gloss which inadvertently draws attention to them. Play down your radiators by painting them to same colour as your walls using a Satinwood for wood and metals. Here I have used Muddy puddle on both.
