Moda inspires individual interior style on RTÉ Player’s “The Good Room”

Six homes, six makeovers. Available to watch on RTÉ Player now!

We all aspire to having beautiful homes, but creating a complete interior design look, especially coordinating colour, can be a little bit of a challenge.

Interior journalists and bloggers Caroline Foran and Jo Linehan of GAFF Interiors have teamed up with Moda to create a new interiors programme ‘The Good Room’ which is featured on RTÉ Player from 7 September. The programme sees the Gaff Interiors duo tackle problem rooms in six homes across the country creating big results with small changes using paint colour and accessories.

Moda has been created by Dulux to make colour choice a pleasure not a task. The collection has done the work for you by presenting five curated capsule paint collections to choose from, each creating a styled finished look.

One of the makeovers Jo and Caroline undertook is this living/dining room in Ashbourne. The homeowner Anne had a lovely uncluttered space but the room needed some modernizing and a lot more colour!

Jo and Caroline have created a stylish room with a feature wall in Gatsby Blue from the Mineral Glow palette paired with French Mists. This palette works beautifully in this room which is flooded with natural light. Mineral Glow is a striking palette inspired by nature’s mineral hues including anthracite, copper and gold. Neither too warm nor too cold, these colours create a very contemporary look.

Another makeover took Jo and Caroline to Glanmire in Cork where the homeowner Clodagh had a living room that was cluttered and unloved. Clodagh wanted to transform the living room into a tranquil space where she and her family can enjoy some much needed peace and quiet.

GAFF Interiors have created the haven that the homeowner desired. The living room has been modernised with a pairing of 3 shades from the Coastal Calm palette: Venetian White, Renaissance and Robin Egg. The other colours from the palette have been picked up in the furnishings in the room. The Coastal Calm palette brings tranquility and subtlety to your home. These nature-inspired shades have a warm, balmy glow with washed-down tones foraged from the sands, a foamy tide or a weather-worn pebble.
